As the darkest day and the longest night of the year draw close, you may find yourself turning inwards to reflect on all that was and all that will be.
Like the final drop of the autumn leaves, we leave behind memories, people, places and things – loved, lost, shed and buried in the embers of our hearts.
Although a time of darkness, Winter Solstice invites us to collapse lovingly into her arms, so that we may feel into everything that is yet to be felt.
So that we may become everything that we are yet to become.
I hope this collection of winter solstice poems inspires you to draw inwards, and feel into what’s real, what’s true, and what’s alive within you.

The winds howled, the leaves fell, the earth rumbled. And in this snapshot, behind a dusty frame, she waited quietly, and expectantly, for the birth of her bonfire sky.
