7 Prayers for Protection in the Mental, Physical & Spiritual Realms
Last month, I was baptised.
After what felt like an amazing few weeks leading up to this point, life took a sudden turn and I experienced a crazy, confusing and contradictory couple of weeks.
Suddenly, my health conditions flared up to the extreme, mentally I felt like a complete mess and spiritually, I was all over the place.
It felt like something had knocked me out on all levels.
I was doubting everything, being tempted by everything and questioning how my own faith and desires could shift so quickly.
It was only when I heard a video say ‘God does not cause confusion’ that I realised, I was being tested and trialled by fire.
As I had consciously made the decision to give my life to God, and live in the light, the darkness also ramped up to another level.
After praying a lot, worshipping a lot and receiving prayer from others, I’m back on my two feet; aligned and excited for life.
However, this experience taught me that whilst the light is REAL, the darkness is always waiting to creep into the cracks of our minds, bodies and heart and pull us off-piste.
So, today I write inspired by my recent experience, an offering of prayers for protection on every level.
I hope you find the shield of love, light and faith that you need.
Prayers for Protection
1. Under Your Protection - Jadine Lydia
Lord, I know that I am always
under your protection,
and I lean on you to ask
for an extra layer of protection right now.
Life has been confusing,
and I’m not sure what is my desire,
your desire or the enemies right now.
Please clear, clarify and align
my thoughts, with your thoughts,
my actions with your actions
and my wisdom with your wisdom.
Cloak my mind, body and soul
in the grace of you,
my heavenly father,
and allow me to hear your whispers
as you keep me safe, protected and
guarded moving forwards.

and the enemy we will slay.
Bring down any walls,
not built on truth or love,
and raise up my faith
