7 Prayers for Comfort During Challenging Times
Life is full of raging waters and incomprehensible storms, yet the Lord is with us to hold our struggles and wars.
As someone who has experienced chronic health conditions, there have been multiple points at which I have been knocked so far down that I had absolutely no idea how to get back up again.
However, I have also witnessed the enormous amounts of strength, courage and comfort that his love can provide; even during the most challenging and testing times.
I hope this collection of prayers gives you the comfort you need today and allows the Lord to work in your life, in miraculous ways.
Prayers for Comfort
1. Fill Me with Comfort & Grace - Jadine Lydia
Dear God,
I don’t know where I am, what I’m supposed to do,
or where I’m meant to be going.
Please fill me with comfort and grace
as I gently surrender to the unknown.
Support me to connect to your unbounded love,
Your undeniable power and the truth in all situations.
Allow me to walk without fear and anxiety
and replace any feelings of heaviness
with a feeling of lightness.
Wrap me in your arms of love
and allow me to walk as Jesus walked –
firm, grounded and calm.
I trust that you are with me as I battle these storms,
I love that you are near me, even when it’s hard.
Thank you for your comfort, love, and presence today.
