About Lauren Emes

Often inspired by inner, shamanic journeys, Lauren‘s intuitive and expressive artwork has evolved to include the depiction of otherworldly realms and beings from non-ordinary reality. Wolf features frequently in her drawings and has long been a kind of guardian companion to her creativity.

She is delighted that her paintings, drawings, and fine art prints reside in various places around the globe, including Australia, France, Spain, Germany, Holland, Sweden, Denmark, America, Canada and the UK. 

Lauren’s preferred media of choice tends to be ink, watercolour, acrylic paint, digital media and PMC sterling silver. It’s her highest hope and intention for The Art of Lauren to connect meaningfully with those who come into contact.

Life can be a blur, with many plates spinning, and not forgetting those unexpected twists, turns and heartaches that inevitably pepper the path. 

Lauren believes wholeheartedly that we all have a deeper, soulful quality to our existence. We are each capable of tapping into the inner knowing, intuition and wisdom of our hearts. However, everyday challenges and old habits sometimes prevent us from managing to do this regularly (or even at all).

Oftentimes, it will be a BIG shake up or shocking shift that brings us starkly face-to-face with our truest selves.

All this to say, Lauren strives to make artwork and special treasures that might more gently encourage communication with our soulful parts instead.
