11 Uplifting Poems About Dreaming Your Wildest Dreams
11 Uplifting Poems About Dreaming Your Wildest Dreams
Dreaming is the place where realities merge; where our past, present and future are presented to us in a whirlwind of contrast, experience, longing and desire. So often, we think that our dreams are a universe away, when the truth is that a miracle can happen any day.
Here is a collection of breathtaking, ethereal poetry about dreaming. I hope it inspires you to sweep your hopes into a sky full of dreams, and become the creator of the life and who you’re meant to be.
Breathtaking Poems About Dreams
1. Infinite Word – Jadine Lydia
Her eyes told a story of memories and dreams, picture perfect moments and those to be seen. Captured in a blink and bottled with cloudy love, envisioned in a breath and felt with her beating heart. Her present and unfolding future undoubtedly are told, as her past shapes her desires and new memories evolve. The creator, the dreamer, the eternal believer is she, as she delights in the thoughts of what she knows could truly be. For she knew passionately, deeply and oh so lovingly so, that her dreams were white clouds and her blue sky would surely glow. For as long as she envisioned and spoke her holy word, anything was possible in her divinely infinite world.
2. If Only I Could Catch My Dreams - Christy Ann Martine
If only I could catch my dreams and keep the in a jar. I’d watch them dance like fireflies, flickering like stars. They would grow and I’d let them go to see how far they’d fly, lighting up the pitch-black night as they soar throughout the sky.
With just a tiny seed a garden soon may grow with just a drop of water a river soon may flow for every dream that is ever dreamt a wish may soon come true so it is with life and so it can be with you
On an ink worthy palette she painted her wildest dreams, one of hope and love and love and lust, and a life by the sea; of long, rolling waves shaking her soul, and stirring her life into an endless wavy flow. She dreamt of breath, of life, of sweet, fresh air, of contrast and longing and lungs of despair; of darkness, of clouds, of pale blue skies, of pink bottled kisses and sweet little lies. Because she could, she was and she did. And so, she lived every second with her head in her heart and her heart in the clouds; breathing in the life of her full-blown world.
She finally understood. Everything she had ever wanted was right at her door. She clicked, she dropped, she spun. Her wheel of fortune flew into place as swiftly as a dove to the sky; powdering her dreams with notions that she could really fly. She kept her wings light and her feathers soft, floating her thoughts into the sky above. Magic dropped into her daily living, her daily doing and her daily being. Until one day, she stopped and realised: she really did have it all.
In the hush of the twilight, dreams await, Slumber beckons, the stars narrate. Lay down your head, let the night enfold, Rest your bones, let the dreams take hold.
The pillow soft, a cloud in the sky, Carries you to where the dreamers lie. Through the night, may peace be your guest, In the sacred silence, find your rest.
So close your eyes, the journey’s begun, To the land where dreams and night are one. May the moonlight guide you through the flight, Until dawn returns with the morning light.
Last night I had a dream I built a castle with my hands and put you in it. But you grew wings and flew away and my castle crumbled. But the next day you returned and sat amongst the ruins and told me a secret of why birds must fly and so I built you a castle in the sky.
she is a dreamer a deep thinker she is a mystery a secret keeper she loves too much she says too little she feels too much she expects too little she is a believer a lover a healer she is a keeper.
She lost herself in the trees, among the ever-changing leaves. She wept beneath the wild sky as stars told stories of ancient times. The flowers grew towards her light, the river called her name at night. She could not live an ordinary life, with the mysteries of the universe hidden in her eyes.
